July 2025 Visa Bulletin Updates
July 2025 Visa Bulletin: Updates for Green Card Applicants
The U.S. Department of State has released the July 2025 Visa Bulletin, with a few modest changes across both family and employment-based categories.
In the family-sponsored categories, the F2A category for spouses and children of lawful permanent residents moved forward from January 1, 2022, to September 1, 2022. The F1 category for unmarried adult children of U.S. citizens also advanced slightly, and F2B for Mexico moved forward by about a year. For July, USCIS will continue to follow the Dates for Filing chart for family-based applications.
On the employment-based side, the updates were limited. EB1 for India remains at February 15, 2022, while China moved slightly to November 15, 2022. EB2 for India holds at January 1, 2013, and EB3 advanced a bit, with most countries now at April 1, 2023. EB4 remains unavailable through the end of the fiscal year, and EB5 dates are unchanged. USCIS will use the Final Action Dates chart for employment-based filings this month.
